Blog Entry #1: More About Blogs

What’s your opinion on blogs? Have you ever read one? Most likely if you scroll through the  internet you’ve come across a couple.  Not all blogs are the same; professional corporate and personal are all examples of blogs.
A professional blog that I frequently visit is TMZ. This is a very popular blog because it has all the drama and information about celebrities. This type of blog excites readers because it gives them a feeling of staying in the loop.
Another popular blog is Huffington Post; this blog is about politics, news, and weather going on in our world today. This blog usually intrigues readers interest because they learn relevant information. On the other hand, some people choose not to read blogs about our world today because they’re too faint hearted to read it.
Finnaly, that brings us to the last blog Dear Conquette. This humorous blog is different from the others because it’s a personal blog. The audience asks the author questions and she replies with shady advice. This blog is less popular because it excites only a small group of people.
Now that you have more information on blogs, what type of blogs do you like to read?  Are there any blogs that you currently read that you didn’t know was a blog? Share your thoughts and comments with me below!

  1. Hello Haylee! Nice blog. Just got done reading your intro and your first blog entry. I like how you can quickly express your point without using altogether too many words. Positive critique though I had a sense of you in your intro, but not so much in this post. This post was very informative without much of an opinion about the blogs, or in what way they might affect you as a reader.

  3. Good structure here to provide the skeleton for this post. However, I agree with the above comments. In addition to summarizing the 3 blogs as you've done here, dig deeper and think critically to provide insight into your opinions on the blogs themselves and why you came to those conclusions.
