Entry #9 Mental Health Part 2
In a previous blog post I talked about mental health. I've decided to bring this topic back up again because I received a request, but with a twist! In this blog post the coping skills will be more focused towards men. What are copping skills? Coping skills are tasks to calm or distract the mind. Just like females, men experience anxiety, stress, and frustration. Everyone (No matter the gender) needs to have a couple escape routes or coping skills to help them calm down. The first coping skill is running, this is a very common coping skill because you can basically do it anywhere! Running is a great coping skill because your mind is focused on your legs, rather then the stressors of life. Running is also very good for you, its known to improve memory, decrease illnesses, and improve sleep.
